A bonsai studio with foliage inspired by Podocarpus, Japanese maple, Chinese elm, ficus, Japanese black pine and ginkgo.
Start with Tree type above the seed controls. Each type guides the trunk, crown, branching, leaf shape and shoot arrangement. Your local shaping edits and material choices remain stored. In Leaves, choose a species palette or customize leaf and shoot colors, size and length. The trained silhouette is an artistic interpretation, unique to each seed.
Click and drag the scene to orbit, scroll to zoom, and hold Space while dragging to pan. Touch: drag to orbit; pinch to zoom. H resets your view.
Use the leaf icon to hide foliage temporarily while shaping branches and shoots. Click it again to show leaves.
Use Shape points to reveal draggable trunk and branch sections. Shaping influence controls how far each edit spreads. Saved trees store all edits; export a tree file to transfer it to another browser. Presentation offers backgrounds, camera presets, a 4K PNG and a 30-second turntable video.
GPU-instanced leaves and spatial, distance-based detail reduce rendering work. This is not Unreal Nanite or a voxel engine. The geometry budget is a maximum; broadleaf types use fewer leaves and pine uses paired needles. Speed depends on your device.
